The Jakarta Communication, Informatics, and Statistics Agency (Kominfotik) has reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing the quality of public information transparency in Jakarta.

We're committed to bolstering public information transparency

Jakarta Communication, Informatics, and Statistics Agency Head, Marulina Dewi highlighted that providing hearing rooms, bolstering legal frameworks via the Public Information Transparency Draft Bill (Ranperda KIP), and ramping up grassroots education across all sub-districts have become collective focus areas.

"We're committed to bolstering public information transparency by ensuring all regional departments are fully engaged in E-Monev. We will provide full-scale, unwavering support to the Information Commission,” she stated firmly.

Jakarta KI Chairman, Harry Ara Hutabarat lauded the Kominfotik Agency for its unwavering support in facilitating KIP initiatives across the capital. Highlighting Jakarta’s record as the national leader in E-Monev participation, he set a bold new target.

"Our aim for this year is to involve 1,001 public bodies in the public information transparency assessment," he stated in a press release on Friday (6/26).

He pointed out that E-Monev reflects a serious commitment from public bodies to deliver top-tier information services.

"With 189 public entities already classified as 'informative' in the 2025 assessment, we look forward to seeing that number grow as more bodies aim for the same achievement next year," he stated.
